Max Verstappen Wins 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix For Red Bull
Max Verstappen has won the first race of the 2023 season at the Bahrain Grand Prix in the Red Bull RB19.
Verstappen started in pole position with his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez beside him in second, which is exactly how they ended in the first race of the season.
Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin were all up there in the fight at the front of the field.
Unfortunately, it was not the start of the season that McLaren wanted with rookie Oscar Piastri encountering gearbox and electrical issues which ended up with him having to retire from the race.
Charles Leclerc had a heart-breaking moment having to retire from the race with engine issues.
