The highly anticipated list of inductees into the 2024 ProRodeo Hall of Fame has been announced, showcasing some of the most iconic figures in the sport. Established in 1979, the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, now in its 45th year, stands as a distinguished institution recognizing the enduring contributions of individuals, livestock, and committees to the rodeo world. Over the years, it has welcomed 294 people, 38 animals, and 32 rodeo committees.

At the core of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame's mission is the aim "to bring an appreciation of the American Cowboy and the sport of professional rodeo to the hearts and minds of the public through education, recognition, inspiration, and preservation."

This year, from a pool of over 100 nominees, 10 outstanding individuals have been chosen for induction, along with the recipient of the esteemed Ken Stemler Pioneer Award, which honors innovative leadership in advancing the sport.

Leading the class of 2024 is Kaycee Feild, a legend in bareback riding, who secured an event record six PRCA World Championships. Feild's remarkable career, marked by his resilience and determination, includes victories in 2011-2014 and 2020-2021, setting a gold standard for PRCA bareback riders.

Joining Feild in this prestigious honor are Art Arnold, a 1968 RCA World Champion in team roping, and the late Blue Stone, a two-time PRCA World Champion in bull riding (2001-2002). The class also includes Sammy Andrews, a third-generation stock contractor renowned for his iconic bull, Bodacious; Darrell Diefenbach, a distinguished bullfighter and 12-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo participant; J.D. Yates, a notable figure in team roping with numerous NFR appearances; #171 Mr. T from Burns Rodeo Company, a legendary bull; the esteemed rodeo committee from the Tri-State Rodeo in Fort Madison, Iowa; and barrel racers Marlene (Eddleman) McRae and Jeana Day, both former WPRA World Champions.

Additionally, the 2024 Ken Stemler Pioneer Award recognizes Bob Feist, a multifaceted contributor to the sport, known for his involvement as a contestant, announcer, and founder of the renowned Bob Feist Invitational Team Roping.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for July 13, forming a highlight of the weekend celebrations in Colorado Springs from July 11 to 13. These honorees exemplify the spirit and legacy of rodeo, embodying the values of dedication, passion, and innovation that define the ProRodeo Hall of Fame's mission.
