Sneakerheads everywhere can feel the energy in the air. Two more pairs of highly anticipated kicks from the signature sneaker line of Kobe Bryant are on the way. Many fans missed out on both of December's releases and are still holding out hope for this month's dual drop.

As a sign that the wheels are in motion, Nike has officially loaded both sneakers onto the SNKRS app and website. Below is a detailed look at the Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'Aqua' and 'Court Purple' colorways, as well as details on how to improve your chances of securing the sneakers.

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'Aqua' is scheduled to be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, February 8. The shoes will cost $190 in adult sizes on the Nike SNKRS website and app.

The sneaker community originally thought this would be called the 'Radiant Emerald' colorway, but it appears that Nike went with 'Aqua' instead. Inspired by the Charlotte Hornets drafting Bryant, the colorway sports a white and teal design. A nod to Bryant's jersey numbers is apparent with the numbers '8' and '24' stitched into the mesh upper.

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'Court Purple' is scheduled to be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, February 8. The shoes will cost $190 in adult sizes and $120 in bid kids' sizes on the Nike SNKRS website and app.

The 'Court Purple' colorway pays tribute to the team that traded for Bryant - the Los Angeles Lakers. Similarly to the 'Aqua' colorway, the 'Court Purple' sports a design inspired by Bryant's two jersey numbers.

Bryant's eighth signature sneaker was initially launched in 2012, and the technology and aesthetics still outperform the vast majority of today's current models.
