Mason Mount's Salary To More Than Triple After Leaving Chelsea For Manchester United

Mason Mount's salary will be more than three times higher following his move from Chelsea to Manchester United.

The England midfielder, 24, has been at Chelsea since the age of six.

He has played 195 first-team games for the London club and has been named Chelsea Player of the Year twice.

Despite this, Mount has never been one of Chelsea's highest-earning players and it is understood that this was one of the main reasons behind his desire to leave this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Mount's most recent contract at Chelsea was worth £80,000 per week but he is set to earn a basic weekly wage of £250,000 with United.

With various bonuses included in Mount's United deal, he could even earn up to £300,000 per week based on his performances at Old Trafford.

United are set to pay Chelsea a transfer fee in the region of £60 million for Mount.
