ESPN Unveils 2024 UFL Kickoff Season Broadcast Teams

In a move initially reported earlier this week by UFLSIFN, ESPN has officially unveiled its broadcast teams for the upcoming 2024 UFL season.

One-half of the UFL's broadcast partners, Disney, has unveiled its broadcast teams for the inaugural season of the UFL on ESPN & ABC platforms.

As reported by Sports Illustrated, FOX is expected to announce their commentator teams as well soon.

After working XFL games last season, many familiar faces and voices are returning for ESPN. Among them is analyst Tom Luginbill, who has ties to spring pro football that date back to working alongside his father, Al, and winning a championship with the Los Angeles Xtreme in the original XFL in 2001.

There are also some new names contributing to ESPN's spring football coverage this year, like Kayla Burton, Drew Carter, Kirk Morrison and Mike Monaco.

The UFL is not only a proving ground for players, coaches and team personnel, but also for those who cover the games.

Many broadcasters in the past have seen their careers advance while working with spring pro football leagues. For example, NFL commentator Greg Olsen worked XFL games four years ago for FOX as he contemplated his post-playing career options.
