TNA Lockdown 2026 Results: Avery Styles Signs With TNA, New Champions Crowned

The "Phenomenal Son" of AJ Styles has officially signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. The announcement was made Sunday night during TNA Lockdown.

A legacy lives on and multiple new champions have been crowned.

The annual TNA Lockdown pay-per-view took place Sunday night inside the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois, and the show certainly delivered some non-stop action, as well as a few surprises.

It was announced on Saturday that Avery Styles, the 19-year-old son of WWE Hall of Famer and TNA legend AJ Styles, would be making a special appearance at Lockdown. The Phenomenal Son stepped out into the Impact Zone and heard the fans chanting his name.

Avery told Gia Miller that AJ Styles would not be the man he is today without TNA Wrestling, and that Avery Styles will not become who he is meant to be without TNA Wrestling. He then informed the world that he has officially signed a contract to join the promotion to carry on his father's legacy.

Frankie Kazarian would then meet Avery on the entrance ramp. He said wrestlers like himself, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Christopher Daniels all helped pave the way for TNA Wrestling. And while the locker room is filled with snakes, Kazarian said that Avery could always trust him.

Every match Sunday night was held inside a steel cage, including the main event where Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth stunned The Hardys to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions. Here's everything you may have missed from Sunday's pay-per-view.

  • A.J. Francis defeated Elijah via pinfall. Francis was able to capitalize on a distraction provided by Expressions, and picked up the win in this "Final Encore" with the Down Payment. Elijah cracked Francis with a guitar after the match was over.
  • Allie and Kiera Hogan defeated The Elegance Brand to retain the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Hogan was introduced as the surprise fill-in for the still missing Rosemary, and scored the decisive fall after hitting M by Elegance with a sweep slam.
  • Frankie Kazarian escaped the cage to defeat Moose. As both men were battling to make it out the door, Moose blasted Kazarian with a massive spear that set him flying through the door and out onto the floor below.
  • Xia Brookside defeated Elayna Black by pinfall to retain the TNA Knockouts World Championship. This was a very bloody affair that saw Brookside utilize a hand full of powder, which ended up in Black's eyes, to hang onto her title.
  • Mustafa Ali defeated Jason Hotch by pinfall to win the TNA International Championship. Ali left Hotch a bloody mess, and he left with his title after Hotch became more preoccupied with protecting a stuffed toy that Ali had stolen from his daughter in the crowd. It took not one, but two 450 Splashes to put him down.
  • Leon Slater was the Last Man Standing against Cedric Alexander and won the TNA X Division Championship. Slater was able to protect the history of his near-record X Division Champion reign by hitting three Lumbar Checks and a Swanton 450 to keep Alexander down for a count of 10.
  • Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, and Alisha Edwards defeated Ricky Sosa, Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, and Jada Stone in Lethal Lockdown. Edwards ended what was an absolutely chaotic contest by hitting a package piledriver on Sosa off some steel chairs and pinning him.
  • Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth defeated Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy in a Tornado Tag Team Match to capture the TNA World Tag Team Championship. With his brother Jeff tangled up in the cage, Matt drove Ryan through a table with a diving elbow. But when he stood up, Nic hit him with the Danger Zone and pinned him to win the tag belts for him and his brother.

As Nic and Ryan celebrated with some bottles of champaign, Leon Slater came down to the ring to exercise his "Option C". He traded in his newly won X-Division Championship to get a TNA World Title shot at Bound for Glory. Slater then stood tall over Nic Nemeth after dropping him with a super kick.
