Congratulations to Calabasas senior Derek Morhar for being voted Scorebook Live’s Southern California boys basketball player of the week!

Morhar led the way for Calabasas, scoring 37 points in their matchup against Westlake

Morhar received 66.11% of the vote, beating out Covina'sMatthew Bigbee who finished with 32.15% .

Mason Hooks, Harvard-Westlake: Hooks dropped 28 points for Harvard-Westlake in the Wolverines’ 74-40 loss to Bishop Gorman.

Matthew Bigbee, Covina: Bigbee scored 28 points and pulled down 11 boards in Covina’s 61-46 win over San Dimas. 

Caleb Hall, Peninsula: Hall led the way for Peninsula, scoring 29 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in a 75-38 victory over Centennial.

Isaiah Johnson, Bishop Montgomery: Johnson netted 29 points in Bishop Montgomery’s 67-52 victory against Serra.

Corey Cofield, Birmingham: Cofield finished the night with 23 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists as Birmingham defeated Cleveland 81-39. 

MikeMahlen, Tesoro: Mahlen dropped 41 points on 10 3-pointers in Tesoro’s 85-53 victory against El Toro.

Clark Slajchert, Oak Park: Slajchert tallied 34 points in Oak Park’s 65-45 win over Camarillo.

Adrian McIntyre, Saugus: McIntyre’s double-double of 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists helped Saugus to a 73-64 victory against West Ranch.
