Paul Biancardi, a college basketball coach-turned analyst, is one of the purveyors of the ESPN 100 national grassroots recruiting rankings, which include five players from the state of Washington in the class of 2021.

Biancardi joins Wednesday's episode of The Iso with Dan Dickau to discuss his approach to covering recruiting nationally, importance of game tape over highlight mixes and assessing character when evaluating the country's top high school basketball players.

"If a guy's team is down 20 points with two minutes to go, I want to see how he responds to those last two minutes," Biancardi said. "That's going to tell me something about his character."
