Jackson Proctor had two touchdown runs and Alphonse Oywak made several big plays on defense -- including a drive-killing interception -- to lead the Kentwood High School football team to a 35-14 victory over Todd Beamer Thursday night.

Proctor, Kentwood's junior quarterback, scored both TDs in the third quarter as Kentwood built a commanding 21-0 lead. Oywak picked off a pass just before halftime to thwart a Todd Beamer drive, then he recovered a fumble in the third quarter to help Kentwood put the game away.

Kentwood (3-1) travels to Auburn Mountainview next week, while Beamer (3-1) travels to Tahoma.
