Every week during the 2020 football season, SBLive Arkansas will rank the top high school football teams in every classification.

Here are the 6A rankings as compiled by SBLive reporters Connor Morrissette and Lance Smith.

1. Greenwood (8-0)

The Bulldogs conquered yet another great opponent, this time Benton, and won by two touchdowns. They'll face Van Buren this week before closing the regular season against No. 2 Lake Hamilton.

2. Lake Hamilton (7-0)

The Wolves are about to get a taste of their potential playoff competition — No. 3 Benton and No. 1 Greenwood. While there are plenty of 6A teams realistically in the title picture, the odds are strong they'll face one of those two squads in the playoffs.

3. Benton (5-3)

Benton's 42-28 loss against Greenwood wasn't a bad effort. It means the Panthers aren't where they want to be yet to accomplish their goals, but it's clear they can compete against anyone. This week, it's time for their long-awaited showdown with No. 2 Lake Hamilton.

4. Jonesboro (5-2)

The Hurricane beat West Memphis and Searcy by a combined 59 points the past two weeks. The Sylvan Hills squad they face this week comes in as a clear underdog, but it can push just about anybody on a good day.

5. Parkview (5-1)

After a couple of shaky outings that included their lone loss of the season, dominating Russellville by 30 points had to feel good for the Patriots. They face two solid playoff teams to end the regular season in Siloam Springs and Mountain Home.

HONORABLE MENTION

Searcy, Sylvan Hills, Van Buren, Pine Bluff, Siloam Springs, Mountain Home
