Jakob Gude, 4-star safety, commits to UCF over Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Oregon

Langston Hughes (Georgia) four-star safety Jakob Gude made his commitment on Thursday evening to the Knights

FAIRBURN, GEORGIA- The University of Central Florida is at it again in the Peach State. 

When it comes to getting Georgia talent down to the Sunshine State, UCF head coach Gus Malzahn’s staff has been red hot. Thursday evening, the Knights got themselves another good one. 

Langston Hughes (Georgia) safety Jakob Gude announced Thursday evening via Twitter that he is committing to the Knights. The defensive standout is a 4-star rated prospect according to 247Sports and also had offers on the table from Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Oregon.

Last season at Sandy Creek High School, Gude totaled 25 tackles and one interception. The safety also has offers from Akron, Arkansas, Auburn, UConn, Charlotte, Eastern Michigan, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Syracuse, Texas and Texas A&M.
