Here are the candidates for the SBLive Michigan High School Athlete of the Week.

Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday.

Michigan high school Athlete of the Week nominees

Ayden Davis, Onsted

Senior Ayden Davis would notch a double-double as he finished with 42 points and 21 rebounds to lead Onsted to a 69-43 win over Wayne. 

Deunte Phifer, Lansing Waverly

Senior guard Deunte Phifer would finish with 39 points for Lansing Waverly in a win against River Rouge. 

Jordan Sigmon, Renaissance

Sophomore guard Jordan Sigmon scored 42 points for Renaissance despite a 78-83 loss to West Bloomfield. 

Jalen Jordan, Jackson Northwest

Junior Jalen Jordan would lead Northwestern in a thrilling double overtime win against Hanover Horton, 79-73, as Jordan finished with 36 points. 

Cam Thompson, Whitehall

Junior Cam Thompson had a dominant performance for Whitehall in their win against Fruitport, 72-43, as Thompson finished with a double-double, scoring 26 points and grabbing 24 rebounds. 

Lily Zeinstra, Byron Center

Senior Lily Zeinstra continues to showcase her talents as she scored 39 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Byron Center over Grandville, 60-43.

Summer Davis, West Bloomfield

Senior Summer Davis had a good performance for West Bloomfield as she notched 25 points, three rebounds, three assists, four steals, and one block in a 73-20 win over Utica Ford. 

Grant Lucas, Bay Reps

Senior Grant Lucas finished with four goals and one assist in an 8-0 win against Traverse City West. 

Aydan Miles, Negaunee

Junior Aydan Miles had himself a day for Negaunee as they defeated Waupaca, 8-5. Miles finished the game with six goals and one assist. 

Nate Dixon, Brighton

Senior Nate Dixon finished with six goals and one assist to lead Brighton to a 9-4 win over Traverse City Central. 

Bryant Lee, Houghton

Senior goalkeeper Bryant Lee had a good performance in Houghton’s 4-1 win against Hancock Central. Lee would finish with 35 saves on 36 shots on goal.
