Nova Classical volleyball's Ava Ball wins SBLive's Minnesota Athlete of the Week

The sophomore outside hitter had 15 kills, seven digs, a block and an ace in a 3-0 win at St. Agnes

Ava Ball, Nova Classical

The sophomore outside hitter had 15 kills, seven digs, a block and an ace in a 3-0 win at St. Agnes, Monday. Her 184 kills are third-most in the state.

Evan Lindgren, Hillcrest Lutheran finished second. The senior running back carried the ball 12 times for 128 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 47-12 win over Bertha-Hewitt, Friday.

Hannah Bruskiewicz of Rogers finished third. The senior middle hitter scored 15 kills and four blocks in a 3-2 win at St. Michael-Albertville on Monday, and she and had 11 kills, three aces, and seven blocks in a 3-1 win at Elk River on Wednesday. She ranks third in Minnesota with 40 total blocks.
