Vashon has jumped to the top spot in the SBLive Missouri high school boys basketball Top 25 power rankings. The Wolverines move to the top of the list for the first time this season after Liberty fell in an instant classic to Staley last week.

1. Vashon (15-2)

The Wolverines’ two losses this season are to a team outside the state of Missouri.

2. Lee’s Summit (15-1)

The Tigers grabbed a pair of wins this past week with victories over Ruskin and Oak Park. 

3. Chaminade (10-4)

The Red Devils have a pair of games this weekend against Lutheran North and Oak Park Fenwick, which will be played at Vashon.

4. Bolivar (15-1)

The Liberators play host to the Liberator Classic this weekend with some of the top teams in Southwest Missouri.

5. Staley (16-2)

The Falcons move up in the poll after a 51-35 win over Liberty in the final of the C.W. Stessman Invitational.

6. Liberty (16-1)

The Blue Jays drop in the poll after falling to Staley but had a nice bounce-back win – 77-71 over Blue Springs Tuesday night.

7. Christian Brother College (11-5)

The Cadets earned a pair of wins over the weekend with a 65-60 victory over DeSmet while defeating Modesto Christian 84-65 at the Quincy (Ill.) Shootout.

8. Blair Oaks (14-1)

The Falcons head to Nixa to take part in the Nixa Invite this weekend.

9. Webster Groves (12-6)

The Statesmen will look to break their three-game losing streak against McCluer Friday evening.

10. Thayer (14-1)

The Bobcats defeated Bakersfield 74-33 Tuesday night before heading to Boliver for the Liberator Tournament this weekend

11.DeSmet (11-5)

The Spartans opened play in the Circle 7 Shootout with a 72-49 win over Parkway South after falling to CBC 65-60 last Friday evening.

12. Mexico (15-0)

The Bulldogs won the Macon Invite with a 64-54 win over Kirksville last Friday evening.

13. Eugene (17-1)

The Eagles bounced back after losing their first game of the season to Osage Friday night with a 53-50 win over Northeast (Cairo).

14. Westminster Christian Academy (16-1)

The Wildcats continued their winning ways with a 70-34 win over Lutheran North Saturday afternoon.

15. Cardinal Ritter (11-8)

The Lions extended their winning streak to four games with a pair of wins at the Quincy (Ill.) Shootout this past weekend.

16. New Madrid Co. Central (9-4)

The Eagles won a pair of games this past week with road victories over Dexter and Malden.

17. Parkview (10-4)

The Vikings travel to Columbia to take on Battle Friday after defeating Branson Tuesday evening.

18. Norwood (15-1)

The Pirates extended their winning streak to five games and will play Forsyth in the semifinal of the Family Pharmacy Panther Classic.

19. South Iron (17-2)

The Panthers won the Black River League Tournament with an 80-61 win over East Carter.

20. Monroe City (13-3)

The Panthers extended their winning streak to nine games with a pair of wins over Mark Twain and Palmyra.

21. Mound City (17-0)

The Panthers have the week to get ready for a key matchup with South Nodaway next Monday.

22. MICDS (12-3)

The Rams defeated Howell North in the opening round of the Fort Zumwalt Classic and will play St. Mary’s in the semifinals Friday evening.

23. Father Tolton (13-6)

The Trailblazers dropped a pair of games at the Quincy (Ill.) Shootout and will take part in the Harrisburg Tournament this weekend.

24. Charleston (16-3)

The Blue Jays won the Superman Classic with an 86-67 win over Massac County and will head to Sikeston Friday evening.

25. Nixa (14-2)

The Eagles defeated Springfield Central Tuesday evening and will play host to many top teams in the Nixa Invite this weekend.
