Congratulations to West Plains girls basketball power forward/shooting guard Ashton Judd for being voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for March 14-20!

The senior was an integral part of West Plains’ 50-37 win over Whitfield in the Class 5 title game, dropping a game-high 30 points and 11 rebounds.

Jevon Porter, Father Tolton Catholic boys basketball

Porter, who is headed to play hoops for Pepperdine, dropped a team-high 29 points and nine rebounds despite a 57-49 loss to Vashon in the Class 4 title game.

Kennard Davis, Vashon boys basketball

Davis, a junior forward, had a team-high 15 points during Vashon’s 57-49 win over Father Tolton Catholic in the Class 4 title game, marking the program’s 13th all-time championship.

Jadis Jones, New Madrid County Central boys basketball

Jones showed out in Class 4’s third-place game, using a game-high 22 points to help lead New Madrid Central to a 64-51 win over Pembroke Hill for the program’s first trophy since 2007.

Allie Turner, John Burroughs girls basketball

Turner, just a sophomore, scored a team-high 19 points to push John Burroughs to a 54-46 win over St. Joseph Benton in the Class 4 title game — the program’s first ever championship.

Jaida Cox, St. Joseph Benton girls basketball

Despite a 54-46 loss to John Burroughs in the Class 4 title game — the Cardinals’ first championship loss in three appearances — Cox scored a game-high 20 points.

Adalynn Koelling, Helias Catholic girls basketball

Koelling, a senior, notched a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds during the Crusaders’ 51-40 win over St. James in Class 4’s third-place matchup.

Gabrielle Bax, Helias Catholic girls basketball

Bax was on fire during the Crusaders’ 51-40 win over St. James in Class 4’s third-place game, going 10-for-18 for a game-high 22 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Desmond White, Helias Catholic boys basketball

White scored a game-high 27 points during the Crusaders’ 72-53 loss to Webster Groves in the Class 5 title game, with 23 of those coming in the second half.

Iziah Purvey, Webster Groves boys basketball

Purvey, a 6-foot-4 sophomore, paved the way for Webster Groves’ fifth state title by dropping a team-high 19 points during a 72-53 win over Helias Catholic.

CJ Lang, Webster Groves boys basketball

Lang, just a sophomore, notched a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double during Webster Groves’ 72-53 win over Helias Catholic in the Class 5 title game.

Robert Lewis, Cardinal Ritter boys basketball

Lewis had a monstrous, crucial double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds to help lead Cardinal Ritter to a 53-51 win over Springfield Catholic in Class 5’s third-place game.

Zach Howell, Springfield Catholic boys basketball

Despite a 53-51 loss to Cardinal Ritter in Class 5’s third-place showdown, Howell led the Fightin’ Irish with a game-high 23 points.

Brooklyn Rhodes, Whitfield girls basketball

Rhodes did a little bit of everything despite a 50-37 loss to West Plains in the Class 5 title game, tying for a team-high 13 points while grabbing eight rebounds and notching three steals.

Ellie Paloucek, Webster Groves girls basketball

Palouceck was on a scoring spree during Webster Groves’ 54-53 win over Smithville in Class 5’s third-place game, dropping a game-high 27 points.

Matthew Enright, Webster Groves boys basketball

Enright scored a game-high 23 points while going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc to punch Webster Groves’ ticket to the Class 5 title game with a 60-57 win over Cardinal Ritter in the semifinals.

Saniah Tyler, Incarnate Word girls basketball

Tyler, a guard, led the Red Knights with a team-high 23 points during their 67-50 win over Springfield Kickapoo in the Class 6 title game.

Bella Fontleroy, Springfield Kickapoo girls basketball

Fontleroy, who is committed to Baylor, scored a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds despite a 67-50 loss to Incarnate World in the Class 6 title game.

Saneea Bevley, Blue Springs South girls basketball

The Jaguars nabbed a 63-43 win over St. Joseph’s Academy in the Class 6 third-place game, and it was mostly because of Bevley’s game-high 18 points.
