ARLINGTON, Texas – Austin Westlake senior quarterback and Clemson signee Cade Klubnik threw for 280 yards and four passing TDs to lead the Chaparrals to a 40-21 win over Denton Guyer in the UIL's Class 6A Division II Texas high school football state championship on Saturday night at AT&T Stadium.
Westlake improved to 16-0 with the victory to extend a school-record 40-game winning streak and capture the Chaps' third straight 6A state title.
