Top stars, best performances last week in Southern California high school basketball (Jan. 17-23)
League play is halfway through across Southern California high school basketball and the top teams and players are hitting their strides as they push towards the playoffs. Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and individual performances from the past week throughout SoCal.

SOCAL TOP STARS(Jan. 17-23)
Taylor Feldman, Crean Lutheran girls basketball: Feldman averaged 28.5 points per game over two wins last week for the Saints.
Mahliya Wilson, Bonita Vistagirls basketball: Wilson had 28 points, 12 rebounds and five steals in Monday's game against Anchorage Christian.
Nevaeh Mageo, Oceanside girls basketball: Mageo averaged 20 points per game last week and made seven three-pointers in two games.
Sydney Peterson, San Juan Hills girls basketball: Peterson averaged 15 points and ten rebounds per game helping the Stallions to a 2-1 record last week.
Elora Kawasawa, West Ranch girls basketball: Kawasawa had 19 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists against Grace Brethren on Thursday.
Nareh Avakian, Pilibos girls basketball: Avakian had 30 points and 12 rebounds against Oakwood on Thursday.
Arramis Gonzalez, Otay Ranch girls basketball: Gonzalez averaged 23 points and 22 rebounds per game in two wins for the Mustangs.
Angie Robles, Bishop's girls basketball: Robles averaged over 30 points per game last week helping the Knights to three wins.
Taj Roberts, La Jolla Country Day girls basketball: Roberts had 22 points, ten rebounds, and five steals in Saturday's win over Mt. Miguel.
Christian Brown, La Costa Canyon boys basketball: Brown had 24 points in each of the Mavericks' two games last week.
Caden Flint, Scripps Ranch boys basketball: Flint stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, 11 rebounds, five blocks, and four assists in last week's 72-56 win over Patrick Henry.
Brady Burman, Pacific Ridge boys basketball: Burman had 24 points, seven rebounds, and five steals to help the Firebirds beat Calvin Christian last week.
Martin Flores, San Ysidro boys basketball: Flores had 24 points in both games last week to help the Cougars stay undefeated in league play.
Devon Arlington, San Marcos boys basketball: Arlington had 28 points, six steals and five assists in Saturday's commanding win over Rancho Christian.
Camden McCormick, Francis Parker boys basketball: McCormick had 20 points, 15 rebounds, and five assists in Saturday's 67-40 win over San Diego.
Aidan Bell, Agoura boys basketball: Bell had 17 points, 12 rebounds, and six steals against San Fernando last week.
Dylan Benner, St. Bonaventure boys basketball: Benner had 20 points and 13 rebounds in last week's two-point win over Santa Clara.
Jayden Bush, St. Anthony boys basketball: Bush had 26 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals to help the Saints take down Beverly Hills last week.
Luke Mathis, Redlands East Valley boys basketball: Mathis had 27 points including six three-pointers to propel the Wildcats to a 73-70 win over Beaumont last week.
Art Beall, Arlington boys basketball: Beall had 21 points and 15 rebounds in Tuesday's win over La Sierra.
Kamaury Washington, Millikan boys basketball: Washington had 25 points and 12 rebounds in Wednesday's game against Lakewood.
Samson Hall, Moorpark boys basketball: Hall had 25 points, ten rebounds, and four assists in Wednesday's win over Castaic.
