East-West Girls Basketball All-Star teams announced

Nicole Sampson of Southeast Raleigh will coach the East; Susie Shelton of Mountain Heritage will coach the West

Rosters for the 2023 East-West All-Star Girls Basketball Game were announced on Tuesday by the North Carolina Coaches Association.

The game, which will pit graduating seniors from the East against graduating seniors from the West, is scheduled for July 17 at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Players are nominated to participate by their high school coaches and are selected to the all-star game by the head coaches for each all-star team.

Nicole Sampson of Southeast Raleigh will be the head coach of the East team and will be assisted by Anissa Little of Union Pines.

Susie Shelton of Mountain Heritage will coach the West team and will be assisted by Jennifer Baker of North Mecklenburg.
