Canal Winchester started and finished strong Friday night at Worthington Kilbourne in an 8-3 victory.
The Indians jumped out to a 5-0 start, weathered a Wolves rally and pulled away with a three-run seventh inning.
Kollin Trace and Eli Kelley each had two hits for Canal Winchester, while Jakub Romig and Joey Helms drove in two runs each. Kelley hit a solo homer.
Trace pitched six innings, striking out four and giving up two unearned runs.
Canal Winchester (3-2) will host Worthington Kilbourne (4-2) on Monday.
