El Reno defeats Sapulpa: Live updates, score of Oklahoma (OSSAA) girls basketball Class 5A state championship (3/9/2024)

Follow along as Lady Indians seek to cap perfect season, but Lady Chieftains eye repeat

NORMAN, OKLAHOMA - El Reno attempts to finish off a perfect season.

On the other side, Sapulpa is seeking to repeat as Class 5A state champions, as well as win its third gold ball in the past four seasons.

In the 5A title game Saturday at the Lloyd Noble Center, the 27-0 Lady Indians face off with the Lady Chieftains.

- El Reno's Emmary Elizondo led all scorers with 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Nazhoni Sleeper and Pauline Black-Harmon each scored 10 points as well for the Lady Indians. Sapulpa got 15 points from Taylor Bilby, all courtesy of five 3's.
