Ryan Rivers of Lebanon voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Lebanon’s Ryan Rivers for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Baseball Player of the Week for the week of May 22-28.
Rivers, a senior pitcher on the Lebanon team, threw six shutout innings, allowing two hits while striking out 11 and walking two for the Warriors in their 2-1 win over Putnam in a Class 5A state playoff first-round contest at Lebanon High School.
Rivers received 47.24% of the vote, beating out Ty Burnham, a freshman on the Sheldon team, who finished second with 34.05%. Justin Walters, a junior on the Banks team, was third with 16.48% and Ethan Kleinschmit, a senior on the Kennedy team, was fourth with 0.68%. There were nearly 10,000 votes tallied this week.
