Prediction: Oregon Ducks women's basketball set to add top-100 commitment

Oregon is poised to add a top-100 prospect this week

The Oregon Ducks women's basketball program has established itself as one of the nation's best - both on the court and off of it as recruiters.

That trend appears likely to continue in the class of 2023.

Oregon coach Kelly Graves has already secured commitments from Idaho guard Amari Whiting (No. 31 prospect nationally; Burley) and Oregon wing Sofia Bell (No. 34: Jesuit HS), becoming one of just five programs with two top-40 pledges (UConn, North Carolina, Maryland and Texas). 

But more help is on the way.

The Ducks are poised to add another top-100 pledge this week, giving them a solid chance of a top-five class nationally. 

In the 2022 recruiting cycle, Graves put together a strong group, consisting of Ohio five-star point guard Chance Gray (No. 7 nationally), Ohio five-star forward Grace VanSlooten (No. 13), Arizona four-star wing Jennah Isai (No. 36) and Arizona four-star post Kennedy Basham (No. 59). 

So far, the 2023 class doesn't have the same level of headline talent.

But there's a long way to go.

And Oregon should add to its haul this week.
