Rueben 'Hurricane' Bain, elite edge-rusher, trims list to 6
Miami Central High School (Florida) star Rueben Bain has been one of the nation's most productive defenders over the last two seasons.
As a junior, he racked up 48.5 tackles-for-loss and 29.5 sacks.
So far this season, he's totaled 11.5 tackles-for-loss and 11 sacks in just four games.

In other words, he'll be a major recruiting prize for whichever program earns his services.
On Wednesday, Bain took a big step forward toward making that decision, announcing a top six of Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Louisville, Miami and Oklahoma:
Thank You God for Blessing me, these are the schools I’ll be looking into going forward! @@Hayesfawcett3 pic.twitter.com/TWXnGHJ3Tb

Bain is rated the nation's No. 89 overall prospect and No. 10 defensive lineman by 247Sports.
Given that Bain resides in Miami and carries the nickname "Hurricane," many assume he's a near-lock to end up at Miami, particularly after recently saying his relationship with the staff is "second to none."
And while Mario Cristobal's program will certainly have a very good shot to secure his commitment, Bain has remained open throughout the recruiting process and take several visits.
The 6-foot-2, 250-pound edge-rusher has visited each of his six finalists, including a recent (eye-opening) trip to Auburn.
Who will win the battle for Bain?
That remains to be seen.
But it's down to six.
