Prediction: Washington Huskies to land bluechip linebacker

Washington's big weekend keeps rolling

The Washington Huskies entered the weekend with just one commitment in the class of 2024.

But that has changed in a hurry.

Washington has secured commitments from Long Beach Poly (California) four-star wide receiver Jason Robinson Jr. and Oaks Christian (California) three-star wide receiver Justice Williams.

And Kalen DeBoer's staff may not be done.

Prediction: Khmori House to the Washington Huskies

St. John Bosco (California) four-star linebacker Khmori House tweeted earlier this month that he was nearing the announcement of a top three, as well as his college commitment:

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound 'backer still hasn't released that list formally, but after speaking with him prior to this weekend's official visit to Washington he is close to doing just that.

House mentioned several schools, but Auburn, Texas and Washington were the ones of which he spoke most highly.

While the California 'backer hasn't taken an official visit to Auburn, he did visit Texas officially earlier in the month and was blown away by the trip.

In fact, the Longhorns were impressive enough that Washington's industry-wide perceived lead may have been on shaky ground.

However, all signs point to this being a home-run official visit weekend for the Huskies - with multiple commitments.

Given that House was already close to announcing, Washington is well-positioned to secure his commitment if his final trip goes well.

This is a little bit of speculation given that I haven't yet been able to talk to House about how his trip to Seattle went (and the fact that Texas is still looming large).

But Washington was clearly a top contender before the trip, House has been close to a decision for some time and it sounds as if things are going very well this weekend up in Seattle.

Put those three factors together, and I think House is a Husky sooner rather than later.
