Aislin Fiander scored 11 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter, including two free throws with 8.6 seconds remaining, and the Kennewick girls survived a Mid-Columbia Conference thriller, 52-51, over Chiawana in Pasco on Friday night.

Kennewick is the No. 7 team in Class 3A; the Riverhawks are ranked fifth in 4A.

Chiawana had a chance to send the game into overtime with 0.1 seconds to go, but standout junior Talia Von Oelhoffen - who led all scorers with 29 points - missed the second free throw after being fouled on a 3-point attempt.
