Photos: Ninth-ranked Lake Stevens too tall of a task for No. 3 Tahoma at the King Showcase
Vikings feast on the interior in posting a 75-66 victory over the Bears at the ShoWare Center.
KENT - For a big, physical team, ninth-ranked Lake Stevens has done a remarkable job of laying low in the Class 4A girls basketball landscape.
That might change after Monday.
Led by Baylor Thomas' 25 points, and big contributions by 6-foot-4 post player Camille Jentzsch down the stretch, the Vikings beat No. 3 Tahoma, 75-66, in the 2022 King Showcase at the ShoWare Center.
Jentzsch tallied half of her 16 points in the final 4:20 of the game.
Hope Hassmann led the Bears with 25 points. Tahoma cut a 16-point deficit to 52-51 early in the fourth quarter.
