Less than a month after signing the top Northwest prospect in the class of 2022, the Oregon Ducks are set to host the top Northwest prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

Oregon coach Dan Lanning has made the Northwest a massive priority early in his tenure, securing the commitments of two Washington bluechip prospects, Rainier Beach five-star offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. and Puyallup four-star lineman Dave Iuli, and signing Oregon four-star talents Trejon Williams (Jefferson) and Emar'rion Winston (Central Catholic).

The Ducks are targeting several big-time Northwest talents in 2023, including Central Catholic All-American tight end Riley Williams, Rainier Beach All-American cornerback Caleb Presley and Lincoln five-star defensive lineman Jayden Wayne.

On Wednesday, Wayne announced that he will be making a return trip to Eugene to check out Oregon's spring game:

Oregon is expecting a massive visitor list for the weekend, and Wayne projects as one of the headliners.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound defensive lineman, out of Tacoma, Washington, is rated the nation's No. 3 edge-rusher and No. 27 overall prospect.
