Angels at Guardians: Lineups, How to Watch, Predictions and More

The Halos will look for their 10th in of spring training.

The Los Angeles Angels are almost halfway through spring training. As things stand, they are playing great baseball. The team sits at 9-6 through 15 games, and they'll look for their 10th win of spring training today when they take on the Cleveland Guardians. 

The Angels will trout out their best southpaw pitcher, veteran Tyler Anderson, for his third start this spring training. Anderson has a 5.40 ERA with seven strikeouts and a 0-1 record. He will face Guardians' lefty, Logan Allen. 

Lineups

Halos manager Ron Washington will have shortstop Zach Neto hitting lead-off, followed by Nolan Schanuel at first base, Mike Trout at center field, and Taylor Ward in the cleanup spot, who will play left field. Following the top four will be Luis Rengifo, batting fifth and playing third base; Matt Thaiss at catcher and batting sixth; Jake Marisnick, playing right field and batting seventh; Willie Calhoun, batting eighth and at DH; and Ehire Adrianza, at second base, batting ninth. 

How to Watch

The game will be televised on Bally Sports West on the Angels side of things, while the Guardians will have it on Bally Sports Great Lakes. For those interested in listening to it on the radio, the Halos will broadcast it on KLAA 830, and the Guardians will have it on WTAM 1100. The first pitch will be at 12:05 p.m. PT. 

Predictions

The Halos captured one of their nine wins this spring training against the Guardians, back in their matchup on February 29th. The Halos came put on top 4-1. We expect the same result for the Angels, this time, a score of 7-4.
