The Los Angeles Angels continue to add to their coaching staff under new manager Ron Washington. The team made a series of moves over the last few days, and they seem to be getting everything into place.

They announced that they hired Barry Enright to be their new pitching coach. During his playing days, he spent time with the Angels and has worked with the Arizona Diamondbacks of late. He was the assistant pitching coach for Arizona over the last two seasons.

Jonny Washington will take over as the hitting coach, and his mission will be to get this Halos offense to be more consistent. He has spent time with the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres in the past.

They poached a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, hiring Tim Laker as their new offensive coordinator. He will work alongside new hitting coach Jonny Washington and he brings a ton of experience with him. Laker was the Dodgers minor league hitting coordinator last season and he has spent time with the Seattle Mariners and Diamondbacks.

Jerry Narron takes over as the team’s catching coach, and he used to be the Angels minor league catching coordinator. He knows the guys in the clubhouse, which should make things easier for the transition. And finally, Bo Porter takes over as their new first base coach.

Washington has wanted to form a strong staff around him to help make his life easier through the season. They plan on hitting the ground running, and they are hoping that these signings will help the overall product.

It’s quite the staff that the Halos have assembled, and it seems that they are serious about trying to win next season. They all bring solid experience to the table, and hopefully, they can get this team back on track.
