Earlier this week, a viral photo of Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani was released of him eating a bag of Funyuns. It was super random and funny as we got an insight into casual Shohei.
Angels starting LHP Patrick Sandoval was responsible for taking the photo and had no idea that the photo was blow up the way it did. Here we are, a couple of days later, and the photo is still making headlines. Sandoval sat down with the Halos media and discussed the photo's backstory and how it came about.
It's funny to see the best players in the league in their regular element, and Sandoval did justice with the photo of Shohei. Sandoval and Ohtani are best buddies on the team, and Shohei's calm demeanor in giving his teammate permission to post the photo shows it.
