It was to the surprise of many that, despite the ongoing investigation that the Angels' third baseman Anthony Rendon is at the center of, he still was included in the starting lineup for LA's second game against the Oakland Athletics.

Two videos have gone viral recently as they capture Rendon leaving the A's stadium on Thursday after the Angels lost 2-1 and arguing with an opposing fan. This led to some violent exchanges and ended with Rendon grabbing the fan by his shirt and attempting to smack him in the head.

See for yourself if you haven't already.

The fans of the Oakland A's made sure to let Rendon hear it as he stepped up to bat for the first time on Saturday and was met with boo's from all across the stadium.

I would not be surprised if they did so every time he's announced or steps up to the plate for the near future. Fans never forget when the opposite side does something wrong.

Rendon had the opportunity to explain his side of things before the game but opted not to due to it still being an ongoing investigation. Angels' officials chose to do the same and we'll likely have to wait for an official statement from the MLB or Oakland Police Department to get some real answers.
