Your Los Angeles Angels have been able to put together two of their most productive and successful weeks all season and once again, the attention has not just been on Shohei Ohtani but also on the younger role players

Outside of their Wednesday loss to the Texas Rangers, the Halos’ bullpen has been one of the most solid groups across the MLB. The likes of Reid Detmers and Patrick Sandoval have set them up nicely and the relievers have been able to finish the job with new call-ups Ben Joyce and Sam Bachman pitching some huge innings.

And the recent youth movement has been working out nicely for LA in 2023. One of the biggest risks with calling up numerous prospects over a short period of time is that many of them are green and may struggle in games that are essentially must-win. However, that just hasn't been the case.

Zach Neto is owning the SS position as he continues to wow fans with his defensive knowledge, Mickey Moniak has taken LA's outfield depth over the top, and before he went down with a shoulder injury, Logan O'Hoppe was developing into a nice catcher option.

O'Hoppe is still considered a prospect due to the number of games he's logged with the organization and experts were paying close attention to his performances before he underwent surgery.

In 16 games in 2023, he was able to slash .283/.339/.547 and had connected on four homers already. He was developing excellent chemistry with the rest of the pitching staff and stepped up when Matt Thaiss was away from the team.

Therefore, Bleacher Report released their June edition of the top 10 prospects at every position and O'Hoppe found himself at the number three spot only behind Endy Rodriguez of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Diego Cartaya of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

We cannot wait to see O'Hoppe back soon!
