Angels News: Hurricane Hilary Forces Halos to Alter Weekend Schedule Against Rays

The Angels are welcoming the Tampa Bay Rays into Angel Stadium this week for a huge three-game series that was supposed to span Friday to Sunday. However, mother nature had other ideas.
If you haven't heard by now, Hurricane Hilary is making its way up the Southern California coast, and is expected to bring heavy rain to SoCal on Sunday. So, rather than waiting and seeing if the teams had to potentially cancel Sunday's game, the MLB decided to get ahead of it.
The MLB announced that the Angels (as well as the Dodgers and Padres) will have their schedules altered this weekend, and will play Saturday doubleheaders instead of Sunday games.
The Angels vs. Rays game scheduled for Sunday has now been moved to Saturday at 1:07 p.m. PT.
Due to the forecast related to Hurricane Hilary, Sunday’s game against the Rays has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 19th.
