The Angels are welcoming the Tampa Bay Rays into Angel Stadium this week for a huge three-game series that was supposed to span Friday to Sunday. However, mother nature had other ideas.

If you haven't heard by now, Hurricane Hilary is making its way up the Southern California coast, and is expected to bring heavy rain to SoCal on Sunday. So, rather than waiting and seeing if the teams had to potentially cancel Sunday's game, the MLB decided to get ahead of it.

The MLB announced that the Angels (as well as the Dodgers and Padres) will have their schedules altered this weekend, and will play Saturday doubleheaders instead of Sunday games.

The Angels vs. Rays game scheduled for Sunday has now been moved to Saturday at 1:07 p.m. PT.

If you had tickets for Sunday's game, those will be honored at the 1:07 p.m. game on Saturday. However, if you're unable to make that game, the Angels will allow you to exchange them for another game if you purchased them at or through the Angels box office.

As for the games, Chase Silseth will take the mound for the Halos in Game 1, while Patrick Sandoval will get the ball in Game 2.

In a day full of exciting and crazy Angels news, a hurricane is making things even crazier.
