Anthony Rendon and the rest of the Los Angeles Angels organization have moved on from the unfortunate altercation that he got himself into earlier in the season for quite some time now. Team manager Phil Nevin, Rendon, and the fan involved all spoke on the matters and he acknowledged that what he did was wrong.

The MLB made their decision a couple of days after the video surfaced and the former champion was suspended for four games after appealing their former decision of a five-game suspension. He was also fined a certain amount of money that was kept private and spoke to the fan one-on-one to put things in the past.

Here is the original video of the confrontation in case anybody needs a refresh.

However, it's looking like the 32-year-old infielder has nothing more to worry about as the Oakland Police Department had been deep in their own investigation regarding his actions but officially closed the case on Thursday.

TMZ was the first to share this news.

"The Oakland Police Department initially launched their probe into Rendon on March 31 -- one day after the L.A. third baseman was seen grabbing an A's fan's shirt on video following a loss at the Coliseum. In police documents, cops say they investigated Rendon for misdemeanor assault as well as misdemeanor battery ... but on Thursday, they closed the matter. A spokesperson for the OPD did say, however, the case would be reopened if an alleged victim were to come forward."

The Angels still do not have Anthony Rendon back from his groin injury yet so this should be great news for them!
