Fresh off of their series win against the San Francisco Giants, Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani had some thoughts about postseason baseball in the Big A.

Knowing that things looked bleak, Ohtani shared that the team's momentum headed into their next set of games could turn this disappointing year into one of joy very soon.

Despite extreme exhaustion likely setting in for the two-way superstar given his contributions to the team, Ohtani twirled another gem of a start to give the Angels their best chance at victory.

After allowing no earned runs over six innings at home on Wednesday, the Angels won by a score of 4-1 and extended Ohtani's scoreless earned run streak to over 19 innings of work.

The likely runaway MVP has compiled another fantastic season with an OPS of over 1.000, the joint league lead in homers with 40 and an overall WAR of 9.

Ohtani isn't the only one who thinks the Halos could go on a hot streak as Lucas Giolito offered a similar sentiment after his first home win for the Angels since being traded at the deadline.

Durability has been a concern for Ohtani in the past and manager Phil Nevin also voiced such concerns.

Though Ohtani's been great all season long, the two-way workload he takes on day in and day out surely has to be wearing on the Japanese superstar as he pursues postseason baseball for the first time as an Angel.

Internationally, Ohtani kicked off his season with a WBC win for his native Japan, striking out his teammate Mike Trout for the final moment of what was a classic tournament.

Though that moment was etched in history by both men, Ohtani's MLB career has been void of such high stakes in his time with Anaheim.

Even with low odds, Ohtani is doing everything he can to get his squad into October.
