There is no doubt that the entire MLB world will be keeping a close eye on the Los Angeles Angels this season and watching how their games unfold. Our fans will be hoping to see some of young pitchers develop, Mike Trout dominate the plate now that he is healthy, and Anthony Rendon bounce back from some injury-riddled years.

However, opposing fanbases will be watching for one reason: To see if Shohei Ohtani will become available for trade or in the free agent market. He has surpassed every single level of stardom and continues to improve. There is nobody that matches his productivity at the pitching mound and at the plate.

CBS's Adam Schein appears to be Ohtani's biggest fan as he hopped on his "Time To Schein" segment and revealed that he believes the 28-year-old pitcher easily ranks above the legendary Babe Ruth.

"Babe Ruth has never accomplished what Shohei Ohtani accomplished," said Schein. "No one alive has ever seen Babe Ruth play so everybody just stop. There is nothing bigger and better and more exhilarating, as a sports fan, than watching Shohei Ohtani do his unprecedented thing."

This is not the first time that we've seen an MLB analyst recently place Ohtani very high on the all-time rankings. Despite only have played five season in the MLB so far, his mark on the sport has already been made.

He is coming off a 2022 campaign that saw him slash .273/.356/.519 while also recording a 2.33 ERA and finishing as a finalist in both the MVP and Cy Young voting. His reputation is clear and he has multiple contenders ready to clear the decks should he become available.
