Angels Notes: Former GM Shuts Down Mike Trout Trade, Was Not Trading Shohei Ohtani a Mistake?

In all likelihood, Trout will return to the Halos next season.

Based on the facts that Mike Trout has done nothing to suggest a potential trade out of Anaheim, he has a no-trade clause and Perry Minasian had a telling recent quote about the situation, it appears that the Angels and the three-time MVP will be running it back in 2024. 

In other news, since there is no telling where superstar Shohei Ohtani will sign in the offseason, the Angels might be regretting the lucrative trade packages they turned down at the 2023 trade deadline.
