The Los Angeles Angels found themselves victorious on Wednesday, picking up a 2-1 win over the Texas Rangers. But the story in the midweek game quickly turned became Reid Detmers, who flirted with history on Thursday when he pitched 7 1/3 no-hit innings before surrendering an 8th inning double. It was a huge turnaround for the lefty who'd been struggling mightily before this latest outing.

In other news, centerfielder Mike Trout talked about his recovery process from a broken hamate bone.
