It's official, Shohei Ohtani will not be pitching in 2024, but hopes to have a role behind the plate after having elbow surgery to repair a tear in his UCL.
Ohtani addressed the situation on his Instagram. Angels' manager Phil Nevin said that Ohtani has expressed his contentment with living in Anaheim, potentially suggesting that the future 2023 AL MVP might stay with the Angels ... maybe.
