The Anaheim Angels have one clear objective: winning baseball games and returning to the playoffs. Currently, the team finds themselves on the outside looking in, and they will be locked in a season-long battle to secure a postseason spot.

They've been known as the Los Angeles Angels for the past decade, but they reside in Orange County and the city of Anaheim. 2000 Gene Autry Way, 92806, is where they call home. However, the organization has been doing their best to find a new home in Anaheim.

The organization has been actively exploring options for a new home within Anaheim. These discussions have been ongoing for some time, but progress has been slow between Halos owner Arte Moreno and Anaheim Mayor Ashleigh Aitken.

Angels insider Sam Blum recently provided an update on the situation, revealing that talks regarding a new stadium have not advanced significantly.

The last time the two spoke to each other was during Opening Day.

The team's lease on their current stadium is set to expire in 2029, and while indications suggest they will likely remain in Anaheim, the question of whether they will eventually have a new stadium remains uncertain. Angels Stadium has been around since 1966 and has not undergone major renovations in recent years.

As a result, the stadium's appearance appears outdated, which is not ideal when you have star players like Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani on your team.

The lack of communication between Moreno and Aitken has proven to be a significant hurdle. It remains to be seen if both parties can come together and resolve these issues.
