Your Los Angeles Angels collected nine hits, one more than the Milwaukee Brewers, but could only produce one run. The Halos fell to the Brewers on Friday night because of that, 2-1.

The offesne couldn't come up with runs and failed to do so after the fourth inning. It was frustrating to watch as an Angels fan; however, manager Phil Nevin realizes that this game is brutal and you can't always get lucky.

“We had a couple chances there,” Manager Phil Nevin said. “Just didn’t cash ’em in. You are not going to get a hit every time. If you hit .300, you make it to the Hall of Fame. Just didn’t get the hits today. That’s all.”

The game was tied 1-1 going into the bottom of the eighth, and Milwaukee's DH Rowdy Tellez capitalized with runners on base, bringing in the go-ahead winning run with a single to right field.

Angels southpaw starter Tyler Anderson was spectacular for the halos, as he went 6.2, his longest outing of the season, and allowed five hits, one earned run, three walks, and seven K's on 109 pitches.

Superstars Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout only combined 2-for-8 with zero RBIs and runs for the Halos. It was one of those nights for the Angels, and they'll try to bounce back on Saturday with their young southpaw Reid Detmers and tie the weekend series.
