FOCO releasing new Hank Aaron "Big Head" Bobbleheads

Hank Aaron is the Home Run King, and it's not a controversial opinion.

He broke Babe Ruth's record of 714 home runs on April 8th, 1974, and finished his career with 755 total home runs. Playing for the Braves organization in two different cities, he's considered the greatest player not only in franchise history, but baseball history.

He holds several records outside of home runs, including most career RBIs (2,297), most career extra-base hits (1,477), and total bases (6,856). He had twenty seasons of twenty or more homeruns, the only player to accomplish that feat, and did it consecutively from 1955-1974. He also set a record with 25 All-Star selections in 21 seasons (he played in four seasons, 1959-1962, that featured multiple All-Star Games).

Beyond his impressive on-field accomplishments, Aaron was an influential figure off the field. As he pursued the home run record, he faced racial prejudice and received hate mail due to his race. Despite these challenges, Aaron remained focused and persevered, becoming an important symbol of racial progress in America.

Hank Aaron's impact on the game of baseball and his contributions to the civil rights movement make him one of the most revered and respected figures in sports history. His legacy as an exceptional player and a trailblazer continues to inspire generations of athletes.
