Matt Olson blasts a three-run homer to put the Braves back on top

A three-run homer from Matt Olson gives the Braves a 5-3 lead.

The Braves got out to an early 2-1 lead over the Brewers after an Autin Riley homer, but the Brewers came back to take a 3-2 lead thanks to homers from Christian Yelich and Carlos Santana.

After a single from Ronald Acuña Jr. and an impressive at-bat leading to a two-out walk from Riley, Matt Olson came through with a three-run homer to put the Braves back ahead 5-3.

Olson's homer left the bat at 96.8 mph with a launch angle of 31 degrees. The homer traveled a total of 361 feet.

Riley's excellent at-bat led to this homer which are the little things that win you baseball games.

This Braves offense can put up runs and do it in a hurry.

Atlanta is looking to finish off the ball game and start the home stand with a sweep of the Brewers.

Let's take a look at Olson's three-run homer that put the Braves back on top of the first-place Brewers 5-3.

What's Next?

The homestand will continue as the Braves host Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels. The Halos have been playing some good ball of late and made some significant trades, so this should be a fun series. Hopefully, the Braves are able to continue winning series and, in doing so, send the Angels back to L.A. unhappy.
