The Atlanta Braves are Dominating the Latest MLB Power Rankings
The Atlanta Braves are expected to be one of the best teams in all of baseball yet again in 2024.
It's not unknown territory for Atlanta. After commanding the best record in baseball last season, they've had a solid offseason and have been able to address some of their needs.
In MLB.com's latest Power Rankings, they rank the Atlanta Braves as the best team in MLB. Will Leitch highlights the stability of the organization thanks to the leadership of Atlanta's president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos.
"This is increasingly looking like the most stable organization in baseball, further evidenced by the recent extension of president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos," Leitch noted. "The Braves had the best record in the Majors last year, they’ve finished first in their division six years in a row, they won the World Series three years ago, and all their stars are wrapped up for years to come. I hope you like the Braves, or can at least tolerate them, because this is what they’re going to look like for the foreseeable future: one of the best teams in baseball. The spring has been smooth sailing for them, and now they have Chris Sale. And on and on they go."

9. The Tampa Bay Rays (Previously ranked seventh)
16. The New York Mets (Previously ranked twelfth)
23. The Miami Marlins (Previously ranked twenty-first)
