Former Chicago Cubs legend Sammy Sosa hasn't had a good relationship with the team since he retired. That's believed to be due to Sosa's unwillingness to admit to steroid use.

Many Cubs fans are fans of the team due to what Sosa did at the plate. It was a common occurrence to see him hit 60-plus home runs in a season, a power bat the game had never seen before.

The now 55-year-old played in the biggest steroid era in baseball history.

For many years, he's been regarded as someone who did benefit from taking steroids.

A 2009 article by the New York Times recognized him as one of the players who tested positive in 2003, leading to much speculation that he did take steroids at some point in his career.

Throughout his life, Sosa has done nothing but deny those allegations.

Returning to Chicago, he was stopped by reporters, questioning how his relationship with the team is. He was also asked if he took steroids.

Sosa says he recognized his mistake and was then asked if he did in fact take steroids. Clearly flustered, Sosa told the reporter this wasn't a question he was expecting from him.

Sosa isn't the only one who has a bad relationship with their team after steroid allegations. Major League Baseball has done everything it can to keep potential steroid users out of the spotlight, including the greatest player of all time in Barry Bonds.

Outside of the comment from Sosa, it's a promising sign that he's willing to make peace with the organization. Whether he took steroids or not, he did way too much for this team and city to not have a positive relationship moving forward.
