Chicago Cubs Top Prospect Arrives At Spring Training Early

Brennan Davis, one of the Chicago Cubs top prospects, has arrived at camp for MLB Spring Training early to put in extra work.

The majority of the Chicago Cubs roster is gearing up for MLB Spring Training which is just around the corner. Pitchers and catchers report Feb. 13 and position players on Feb. 16.

However, one of the Cubs' top prospects, Brennan Davis, has arrived early to the team's Spring Training complex in Arizona. Davis was kept sidelined most of the season with injury, but did see some time at Triple-A Iowa.

The talented prospect is seen by many as an impact Major Leaguer, but his injuries have created concern about his durability and development potential. However, he is coming into camp healthy and is looking to have a solid season.

Davis is an incredibly talented outfielder, who despite his injury concerns, most evaluators still see as an incredibly elite player with an advanced skillset.

Seeing him arrive early to get extra work in ahead of camp is a promising sign. He very well could make his MLB debut this season if things break a certain way.
