Dodgers Roster: Bobby Miller, Jason Heyward Highlight NRI List Ahead of Spring Training 2023

More than half of the players on this Spring Training roster have prior experience playing in the Major League.

This week, the Dodgers announced the players who will be joining the team as non-roster invitees to the Spring Training Camp.

The Dodgers enter their 15th year at Camelback Ranch. Their first Spring Training game kicks off at the end of this month on February 25th with a road matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Out of the 27 players on the list, 17 of them have prior experience playing in the Major League. The Dodgers are inviting two catchers, one infielder, and four outfielders with big-league experience.

There are a handful of well-experienced pitchers as well including Adam Kolarek. The 34-year-old had a 0.88 ERA in 46 games with the Dodgers. During the 2020 World Series, Kolarek also appeared in one game and went 2/3 of an inning scoreless.

Although veterans like Jason Heyward will be playing, younger guys like prospects Bobby Miller and Gavin Stone also earned an invite.

Miller has a solid four-pitch and one of the best fastballs in the high 90s. Additionally, Stone is a 24-year-old player who has above-average pitches with incredible control and skill.

This year's Spring Training roster is packed with players of high potential including a nice blend of veterans and top prospects.
