The Miami Marlins have some pitchers who appear to be close to ready to compete at the MLB level.

MLB.com highlighted the top three prospects for each team in the AL and NL East on Monday. To qualify in their rankings as a rookie, a player must not have exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched at the major league level. They also must not have been on an MLB active roster for more than 45 days.

The top three Miami Marlins prospects are RHP Noble Meyer, LHP Thomas White, and RHP Max Meyer. The site has Nobel Meyer as the 57th-ranked prospect in baseball.

"The Marlins enjoyed a successful but strange season in 2023," the MLB Staff wrote in the article. "They made the playoffs for just the fourth time in their 31-year history, but they also had the lowest run differential (-57) of any postseason team ever and got swept in the Wild Card round by the Phillies. Last year's No. 1 prospect Eury Pérez has graduated and looks to be a mainstay in the '24 rotation, so who's up next?"

Noble Meyer recorded an 0-1 record in the minors in 2023. The former 10th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft held a 4.09 ERA in five games. He only pitched 11 innings and walked seven batters while striking out 15.

The top Marlins prospect's top go-to pitch is a slider that can hit the mid-to-upper 80s. He also has a fastball that has hit the mid-90s.
