National Baseball Outlet Predicts the Miami Marlins Starting Lineup And Rotation

The Miami Marlins lineup and rotation seem pretty close to being set.

The Miami Marlins appear to have their lineup and rotation set at this stage of Spring training.

The quest to find more runs and overall offense without signing many guys to replace the pop in the lineup was a major storyline and concern among many following the Marlins. The staff at MLB.com predicted the lineup and rotation for every team, and here's what they said about Miami.

"The lineup is nearly identical to the one the Marlins used once they acquired Bell and Burger, minus slugger Jorge Soler (who signed with the Giants) and plus (Tim) Anderson, who along with Arraez gives Miami two former batting champions. The DH role will be a rotation," MLB.com wrote in the article.

The predicted lineup shouldn't be too much of a surprise. They predicted the following for Miami's lineup:

1. Luis Arráez, 2B
2. Tim Anderson, SS
3. Josh Bell, 1B
4. Jake Burger, 3B
5. Jazz Chisolm Jr., CF
6. Bryan De La Cruz, LF
7. Avisaíl García, DH
8. Jesús Sanchez, RF
9. Christian Bethancourt, C

They also predicted the rotation for all teams in 2024. This could be a little tougher due to all of the injuries happening within the Miami rotation. Braxton Garrett has general left shoulder soreness. Edward Cabrera is battling a shoulder injury. Most importantly, Eury Perez is resting due to some discomfort with his elbow.

Here's the predicted Miami Marlins rotation by MLB.com:

1. Jesus Luzardo
2. A.J. Puk
3. Trevor Rogers
4. Ryan Weather
5. Bryan Hoeing

The Miami Marlins would gain a lot of positive momentum if they were able to get healthy on the mound before the start of the 2024 MLB season.
