Basically every single position group on the Baltimore Orioles' roster has an elite talent operating there.

It signals a bright future for the organization who did a complete teardown rebuilding effort with the aim of getting multiple elite prospects on the team at the same time.

So far, this has exceeded anyone's expectations.

The Orioles were able to win the most games in the American League last season with only the early crop of players factoring into the roster.

While Baltimore figures out when the prospects still in the minors will eventually get their big league opportunity, the ones who have already arrived continue to shine.

Gunnar Henderson won AL Rookie of the Year in 2023 and figures to be one of the best infielders in the league for a long time.

That's why Joel Reuter of Bleacher Report thinks the 22-year-old will make his first All-Star Game in 2024.

His main reason is that Henderson finished the year with a WAR of 6.2 last season. Only eight players had a higher value than him and all of them were All-Star selections.

Of course, the Midsummer Classic isn't something that's decided on at the end of the year, but this highlights just how good Henderson was, something that should carry over into this season.

He slashed .246/.342/.455 with 13 homers and 37 RBI before the All-Star break before improving all of his numbers in the second half of the year.

If Henderson can get off to a much better start in 2024 than he had last season, then he should be a lock to be an All-Star after proving he's one of the best young players in the sport.
